Bastia style sliding : the love of extreme sports and the crazy will to make skateboarding live in Corsica for more than 20 years.
Addicted to skate from the very first hours, the two islanders Thierry and Laurent went through Reunion Island and many other destinations to satisfy the desire to ride, to discover, to share this spirit and culture.
It is naturally in Bastia, where it all began, that they decided to realize this dream.
A dream come true and accessible to all since the creation of the Team Bastia Skate club in January 2019.

With more than 50 licensees in early 2020, a number which keeps increasing, the club has obtained the label of Roller and Skateboard French Federation, but also the contract for the development of sports in the Bastia area to make urban sports accessible and open to all.

Today, equipped with a mobile Skatepark, the Team travels throughout the department with its equipment of 40 skateboards, 1 ramp, 1 quarter, 4 banks, 1 slide bar.
This Road Trip, with strong human values, entitled Skate in paese (Skate in the village) aims, during these lessons and sporting and cultural events, to introduce children to the practices of urban sliding.

And so, to fight against physical and moral incivilities and all forms of discrimination based on origins, sex, gender, sexual orientation and skin color.
What to wish a long life to this club which, we hope, will make many others want to bring the sliding culture alive in all corners of this little floating paradise!
